THE WIMBELDON RESIDENCE

When you enter this home in Wimbledon, you are immediately met with a sense of warmth. Given the often-muted English light, the palette was kept minimal and bright to ensure clarity and comfort throughout the interiors. To the right of the entrance, the staircase establishes the home’s architectural language—its sweeping form, precise detailing and controlled lighting setting a sculptural yet understated tone.

Moving forward, the plan opens into the living and dining areas, supported by an open kitchen and a family lounge. The garden-facing living room frames the landscape through large glazing panels, while the dining space maintains a disciplined arrangement of clean lines and functional proportions.

The house extends vertically: down to the basement and up to the first floor and attic. The basement features the TV lounge, defined by deep blue panelling that provides both acoustics and character. A temperature-controlled wine room sits adjacent.

KoKo by K2India worked intensively on the interior detailing, developing customised furniture pieces—sculptural bases, consoles and bespoke hardware including individually designed door handles. These elements were conceived to sit in quiet dialogue with the home’s material palette, adding depth without disrupting its architectural restraint.

Private spaces occupy the first floor, with further rooms in the attic, completing a home that is cohesive, measured and finely calibrated.
